Guardian Home Program

Welcome to our Guardian Home Program! We’re excited to offer this unique opportunity for families to enjoy the companionship of a quality-bred dog at a highly discounted upfront cost while helping us continue our responsible breeding efforts.

As a small, in-home breeding program, we believe in providing every dog the best possible care and love. Our Guardian Home Program allows us to expand while ensuring each dog lives in a loving family environment.

What is a guardian home?

A Guardian Home is a unique arrangement in which a qualified family welcomes one of our breeding dogs into their home. The dog lives with the guardian family as their pet while we retain ownership and breeding rights for a specific period. Once the dog has completed its breeding career, they will be spayed/neutered, and full ownership will transfer to the guardian family.

Why Participate in the Guardian Home Program?

As a Guardian, you enjoy adding a quality dog to your home at a significantly discounted upfront cost. We gift our guardians cash each time a litter is produced, reimbursing you over time for the upfront cost of $800. We pay for the dog’s first obedience classes and all whelping/breeding-related expenses, including the spay/neuter procedure. Once they’re retired from breeding, they will become entirely yours.

What is Required from a Guardian Family?

  • Guardians must live within an hour's drive from our Fall Creek, Wisconsin home and not plan to move out of the area for at least the next five years.

  • The dog must dwell primarily indoors, be kept up to date on vaccines, be free of parasites, and be well groomed.

  • Guardians must have prior dog experience and be willing to crate train, potty train, and obedience train. They must also prioritize socialization.

  • Guardians cannot own another intact dog.

  • Guardians would be responsible for all "normal" dog expenses, including food and grooming, just as you would for any pet.

  • Guardians must be willing to take quality photos of the dog and send them to us periodically.

  • Guardians are responsible for all transportation to/from veterinary appointments, breeding’s, etc.

    •  For female dogs, the family must be willing to have the dog live with us for up to 8 weeks to whelp and nurse her puppies. If you cannot be separated from your dog for extended periods, this program is not right for you. Guardians can visit weekly once the pups are two weeks of age.

    • We typically only need a male dog for short visits or a couple of days at a time, but this could be several times yearly, requiring a flexible schedule.

Is the Guardian Home Program Right for You?

The Guardian Home Program is perfect for families who:

  • Want to add a quality dog to their home with a lower upfront cost.

  • Have a safe and loving environment to offer a dog a wonderful life.

  • Are committed to training and grooming!

We are committed to our dogs' well-being and ensuring that each dog in our program lives happily in a loving home. By becoming a Guardian home, you play a vital role in supporting our responsible breeding program while gaining a lifelong companion.
